We found the idea for these super cute party chicks over on Heather Baily’s Blog. Instead of making super fancy ones like she did out of tin. We used cardstock and old Capri Sun juice pouches (we cut off the backs and washed them).

Paper Roses
I work part-time at a grocery store making displays. For Valentine’s Day they’re selling a dozen long stem roses for only $27.99 – What a Deal! The girls helped me make paper roses for this sign.

Valentine Cookies
The girls helped me make some yummy heart-shaped cookies for their Granny and Papa.

Heart Hand Warmers
The girls saw the pattern for heart hand warmers in the February issue of Highlights for Children Magazine. They are made out of felt and filled with rice. About twenty seconds in the microwave makes them warm and toasty. They made some for their Aunt and Uncle in Oklahoma, and of course a couple for themselves.
